A Moment to Remember (2005) is a touching and interesting. Story evolves around Su-jin (Song Ye-jin from the Art of Seduction, Lovers Concerto, The Classic) and Chul-soo (Jung Woo Sung). Su-jin is a designer, a forgetful one as well. She meets Chul-soo in a convenient store and love blossoms between them soon after. However, throughout the movie you'll get the message that something is not right about Su-jin. Yeap, it turns out that she's suffering from Alzheimer disease (a bit too young for her, right?). Her memory slowly fades away. Chul-soo tries his best to help her but life has to move on. "Do not always feel happy about your life. Life can be cruel and unpredictable". It's definitely unbearable to lose a loved one in the helpless fight against such disease (eating your memory away). There's nothing much can be done but to continue to support them and help them to stay strong. After watching this movie, I really cannot imagine how will I live life on if this "eraser" exists in my brain. Not remembering your family, your friends and even yourself. Well, if it happens, I think I would have forgotten about this issue afterall. So no point worrying now. =) Just cherish and live life everyday as if it's the last one. Yeah! and also cherish the people around you because you'll never know when is the last time you'll be seeing them, in this movie, remembering them.

Though the work is hard and the people strange, she does as well as she can. Her parents, however, are still waiting in the hotel's stockyard, and Chihiro must find a way to break the spell on them before they end up as the main course of some guest's dinner.

The story is set in 1930s Hong Kong, with Chow as a shaggy-haired, would-be bad guy named Sing, who gets caught up in the middle of a war between the top-hat-wearing Axe gang and the hard scrabble inhabitants of Pig Sty Alley. Chow--who wrote, produced, and directed--doesn't step in as the star here for quite a while, letting the comic duties fly in a myriad of directions: a landlady in curlers (Yuen Qiu) has a yell that can flatten buildings; people get kicked across courtyards and through walls; musician assassins whip ghost sabers from lyre strings, and a mental patient in pink flip-flops named "the Beast" (Leung Siu Lung) catches bullets in his fingers. Buoyed by SOCCER's box office success, HUSTLE uses bigger production values and a dizzying amount of CGI-enhanced martial arts (imagine Bruce Lee vs. Bugs Bunny in THE MATRIX). It's full of references to other films and filmmakers, revering spaghetti westerns and '70s Shaw brothers movies a la Tarantino's KILL BILL (fight choreographer Yuen Wo Ping worked on both films). It also pays sly homage to the works of Wong Kar Wai, D.W. Griffith, Sam Raimi, Jean-Luc Godard, Stanley Kubrick, and Akira Kurosawa. Raymond Wong's inspired score matches each cinematic reference with the appropriate cue as the camera circles and swoops around the sprawling sets. This is a real treat, more than a great action film or comedy, it's a great film period, and one that set box office records in the East.

Girls, get ready, this is YOUR movie if you are in your teens or early twenties! The fanciful girl-meet-boy story might have many sending text messages to phone numbers unknown to them; just to try if this magic works for them too. Who knows this might be the very catalyst to your dream of finding your very soul mate in the ever most romantic way…

Guys, if your blood type is B, it is probably in your best interest to pass this movie and let your girl watch it with her girlfriend(s). If you insist on watching, an enactment of one of the scenes might just take place. The Type-B boyfriend dragged his girlfriend out of the movie theatre because he found the movie uninteresting; even though the girlfriend enjoyed it. This is what Type B boyfriends do; a display of ultimate selfishness. Type-B guys are also said to be quite creative, but capricious, conceited, selfish, and sulky.

Shin Lee (Ha-mi's cousin and flatmate) radiates through her role and often stole the limelight from the main leads. Her strong discouragement of Ha-mi seeing Young-bin, stemmed from her unfortunate personal experiences with Type-B guys and detail research of the characteristics of the different blood types males. Though exaggerating, her acting does not irritate and brings about the laughter.

One dating idea stood out strongly; enjoys a sky scraper's elevator ride in superman style. Guys can learn plenty from the various romantic tactics showcased in the movie. Silly ideas but they would work on girls, nonetheless.

It is a pity that some of the humour is lost through the Chinese translation. Language, being an amazing system of communication; does not allow itself to be manipulated to our wish in this instance.

Lee Dong-gun might have just saved himself with his impressive delivery of "And I Love You So". It was a pity he announced recently that he would not sing professionally again. Han Ji-hye redeemed herself with sweetness and innocence when compared to the familiar role of an irksome sister in the Summer Scent, a Korean drama serial. By and large, Lee Dong-gun and Han Ji-hye had continued their success from Sweet 18. This is a must-watch for the candy floss lovers; light and saccharine sweet. But if you are looking for more serious stuff, check out Old Boy instead.

As an adult, Kwong (played now by Andy Lau) gets to do anything he wants, like stay out late, get drunk or even flirt with his sexy teacher, Miss Lee (Cherry Ying). But he doesn't stop growing and within a couple of days Kwong has become an old man. The film contemplates the difficulties of family life, of raising children, of growing up, and facing death, which, anchored by Lau's strong central performance, makes for a touching and entertaining experience

Hee-bong's elder son Gang-du (by Song Gang-ho) is an immature and incompetent man in his 40s, whose wife left home long ago. Nam-il (by Park Hae-il) is the youngest son, an unemployed grumbler, and daughter Nam-joo (by Bae Du-na) is an archery medalist and member of the national team. One day, an unidentified mutant suddenly appears from the depths of the Han River and spreads panic and death, and Gang-du's daughter Hyun-seo is carried off by the monster and disappears. All the family members are in a great agony as they have lost someone dearest to them. But as they find out she is still alive, they resolve to save her.

Entertaining costume picture that features a comparatively subdued Stephen Chow, as well as impressive production values and a well-developed, if not overly typical storyline. This isn't the best example of Chow's comedic charm, but it's a solid HK Cinema experience that's worth a look. Be sure to check out the "sleeping kung-fu".

Prince Charming

Andy Lau Tak Wah stars as 'Wah' in the Wong Jing scripted film. Wah is a 'wat jai' wannabe who sells pirate vcd's and works as a motorbike messenger with riding skills. Lau has quite a presence on screen , something quite different from his recent work in Fascination Amour and Conman. Standard WJ production values used here give the movie that 'just shot' feeling. Street scenes feature nighttime HK crowds [mainly young women] standing around hoping to catch a glimpse of superstar Andy at work. Interiors are shot in brightly lit, cheaply decorated sets. WJ put his money into the casting of this film and he gets some great comedic performances out of the actors. Amazing Deannie Ip, cast as Wah's mom, and Yu Rong Guong, cast as Michelle Reis' dad, are surprisingly good. Nick Cheung is very funny as Andy's sidekick. Honorable mention to Suki Kwan who is cast as Nick Cheung's frustrated significant other.

Ms. Reis does not have much to do except look good. She plays the rich girl from Shanghai seeking her long lost mother. When on a business trip to HK with her father, she slips away, looking for her mom. She helps Andy and his pal Nick when they get in trouble with some triad underlings. He then helps her in her quest. Meanwhile her dad thinks she has been kidnapped for ransom by Andy and his crew who have, in fact, thwarted the real kidnappers' attempts. Hokey action sequence at the end of the film total screws up what is a very well written and poignant story. A must-see for Andy Lau fans.

Realizing they are facing a tough adversary, Lynn and Sue become fascinated with Hong as well. Lynn runs into Yan, the cousin of an old friend who died. Lynn and Yan shared an unspoken love in the past which is now rekindled in the open, and Lynn begins to question whether she wants to continue to be an assassin. Chow Nunn was behind his older brother's death. He hired Angel.com to kill Lui because Lui opposed Nunn's business plans, and also because Nunn is carrying on a secret affair with Lui's wife. But when Hong's investigation starts to point to Nunn, Nunn becomes worried and decides to hire Angel.com for another hit ^Ö only so he can double-cross them, wipe them out and prevent them from leading the police back to him. Yan tells Lynn he loves her and wants to marry her. After battling an attack by robbers with her amazing martial arts skills, she tells Yan her family's history. Her father invented the World Panorama for use by the authorities, but was turned down. Suspiciously, word of the device got out to the underworld and both parents were brutally killed in front of the girls' eyes by criminals eager to get their hands on the invention. Bereft at the loss of their parents and disillusioned with the law, the sisters turned professional assassins, killing criminals for other criminals. Lynn tells Sue she wants to stop their criminal life and get married ^Ö she won't accept Chow Nunn's order for the second killing. But Sue, angry and feeling abandoned by Lynn, decides to carry out the killing herself. Lynn realizes what's happening and rushes to save Sue, who doesn't have the skills to carry out the hit. They are attacked by Chow's men but escape. Now the assassin and the cop must join forces - so Sue can avenge her sister's death and Hong can prove her innocence in a spectacular confrontation at Chow Nunn's headquarters...

Mastermind Landlord, who is saving up for retirement with his mentally unstable wife (veteran singer Teresa Carpio), gets robbed of his hard-earned loot. Though the thieving trio pride themselves on having moral standards, the need for cash leads them to take a shady kidnapping job. With the golden baby (Matthew Medvedev) in tow, Thongs and Octopus are soon in over their heads trying to appease the finicky tot and figure out this whole parenting thing, while avoiding the police, debtors, and various unsavory characters who will go to all lengths to get that baby.

The movie continues where the last one with Marty stuck in 1955. But Doc Brown sent him a letter from 1855 through Western Union, that told him that after the Delorean was struck by lightning he was sent to 1855 and was unable to repair it, but has managed to bury it somewhere, where Marty can get to it in 1955 and hopefully the younger version of himself can repair it so he can drive it back to 1985 and then destroy it. But after finding it, Marty discovers that shortly after sending the letter Doc would be shot by an outlaw, Mad Dog Tannen. Marty then goes back to 1885 to save him and meets his ancestors. After finding the Doc, they were about to leave when Marty told the Doc that upon arriving the Delorean's gas tank was punctured, so they don't have any gasoline to run the car, which means they have to find some way to get the car to 88 mph. They decide to try pushing it with a locomotive. And things are fine except for the fact that Tannen, who had it in for Doc, now has it for Marty and has challenged him to gunfight on the day that they are going to leave, and Doc is smitten with Clara Clayton, the new school teacher.
