The spoilt son of a millionaire finds the love of his life, but she will only accept him if he proves himself as a kung-fu master. He enters and wins the "Kung-Fu Scholar" tournament, little realizing that this victory will lead to him becoming penniless, homeless and sleepy. One day, while sleeping under a tree, he encounters a beggar he helped when he was still rich...
Entertaining costume picture that features a comparatively subdued Stephen Chow, as well as impressive production values and a well-developed, if not overly typical storyline. This isn't the best example of Chow's comedic charm, but it's a solid HK Cinema experience that's worth a look. Be sure to check out the "sleeping kung-fu".

Andy Lau Tak Wah stars as 'Wah' in the Wong Jing scripted film. Wah is a 'wat jai' wannabe who sells pirate vcd's and works as a motorbike messenger with riding skills. Lau has quite a presence on screen , something quite different from his recent work in Fascination Amour and Conman. Standard WJ production values used here give the movie that 'just shot' feeling. Street scenes feature nighttime HK crowds [mainly young women] standing around hoping to catch a glimpse of superstar Andy at work. Interiors are shot in brightly lit, cheaply decorated sets. WJ put his money into the casting of this film and he gets some great comedic performances out of the actors. Amazing Deannie Ip, cast as Wah's mom, and Yu Rong Guong, cast as Michelle Reis' dad, are surprisingly good. Nick Cheung is very funny as Andy's sidekick. Honorable mention to Suki Kwan who is cast as Nick Cheung's frustrated significant other.
Ms. Reis does not have much to do except look good. She plays the rich girl from Shanghai seeking her long lost mother. When on a business trip to HK with her father, she slips away, looking for her mom. She helps Andy and his pal Nick when they get in trouble with some triad underlings. He then helps her in her quest. Meanwhile her dad thinks she has been kidnapped for ransom by Andy and his crew who have, in fact, thwarted the real kidnappers' attempts. Hokey action sequence at the end of the film total screws up what is a very well written and poignant story. A must-see for Andy Lau fans.

The brothers Chow Nunn and Chow Lui's giant computer company is facing a tense crisis - a powerful computer virus is rapidly wiping out their computer network. At the last minute a cyber-friend arrives to join the battle. The mysterious 'Angel.com' battles the virus and saves the company. Invited by Chow Lui for a visit in person, Angel.com arrives in the form of the beautiful Lynn (Shu Qi). But it turns out Lynn is a professional assassin with amazing high-tech and kung fu skills. She kills Chow Lui with cyanide hidden in a pair of sunglasses. She's aided by her sister Sue (Zhao Wei), who operates the pair's World Panorama surveillance system, which allows them to tap into any video security system in the world. Young cop Kong Yat Hong (Karen Mok) and her partner Mark are put on the case. Hong has a brilliant mind and immediately senses she's dealing with a killer with very special skills. Realizing they are facing a tough adversary, Lynn and Sue become fascinated with Hong as well. Lynn runs into Yan, the cousin of an old friend who died. Lynn and Yan shared an unspoken love in the past which is now rekindled in the open, and Lynn begins to question whether she wants to continue to be an assassin. Chow Nunn was behind his older brother's death. He hired Angel.com to kill Lui because Lui opposed Nunn's business plans, and also because Nunn is carrying on a secret affair with Lui's wife. But when Hong's investigation starts to point to Nunn, Nunn becomes worried and decides to hire Angel.com for another hit ^Ö only so he can double-cross them, wipe them out and prevent them from leading the police back to him. Yan tells Lynn he loves her and wants to marry her. After battling an attack by robbers with her amazing martial arts skills, she tells Yan her family's history. Her father invented the World Panorama for use by the authorities, but was turned down. Suspiciously, word of the device got out to the underworld and both parents were brutally killed in front of the girls' eyes by criminals eager to get their hands on the invention. Bereft at the loss of their parents and disillusioned with the law, the sisters turned professional assassins, killing criminals for other criminals. Lynn tells Sue she wants to stop their criminal life and get married ^Ö she won't accept Chow Nunn's order for the second killing. But Sue, angry and feeling abandoned by Lynn, decides to carry out the killing herself. Lynn realizes what's happening and rushes to save Sue, who doesn't have the skills to carry out the hit. They are attacked by Chow's men but escape. Now the assassin and the cop must join forces - so Sue can avenge her sister's death and Hong can prove her innocence in a spectacular confrontation at Chow Nunn's headquarters...
Hong Kong's answer to Three Men and a Baby - with Jackie Chan! Following 2004's New Police Story, the affable superstar teams up with director Benny Chan again for Rob-B-Hood, a hilarious action comedy that pulls out all the punches - and the diapers. Rob-B-Hood was a huge box office hit in Hong Kong and China, proving that Jackie Chan is still more than capable of delivering the goods. The action-packed film is filled with his trademark comedic fight sequences, inventive stunts, and jaw-dropping car chases. Jackie teams up with veteran actor Michael Hui and heartthrob Louis Koo (Election) for the first time, and the three show great comedic chemistry as partners in crime and babysitting. Yuen Biao makes a welcome appearance, while a host of celebrity cameos keeps the stargazers busy. Pride of place, however, goes to baby Matthew Medvedev, the criminally cute star of the film who has reportedly already signed a management contract with Jackie Chan's company.
Small-time burglars Thongs (Jackie Chan), Octopus (Louis Koo), and Landlord (Michael Hui) have some cash flow and people issues. Thongs has a gambling problem that empties his wallets and estranges him from his family. Octopus wastes all his money on girlfriends, while neglecting his pregnant wife (Charlene Choi). Mastermind Landlord, who is saving up for retirement with his mentally unstable wife (veteran singer Teresa Carpio), gets robbed of his hard-earned loot. Though the thieving trio pride themselves on having moral standards, the need for cash leads them to take a shady kidnapping job. With the golden baby (Matthew Medvedev) in tow, Thongs and Octopus are soon in over their heads trying to appease the finicky tot and figure out this whole parenting thing, while avoiding the police, debtors, and various unsavory characters who will go to all lengths to get that baby.

The movie continues where the last one with Marty stuck in 1955. But Doc Brown sent him a letter from 1855 through Western Union, that told him that after the Delorean was struck by lightning he was sent to 1855 and was unable to repair it, but has managed to bury it somewhere, where Marty can get to it in 1955 and hopefully the younger version of himself can repair it so he can drive it back to 1985 and then destroy it. But after finding it, Marty discovers that shortly after sending the letter Doc would be shot by an outlaw, Mad Dog Tannen. Marty then goes back to 1885 to save him and meets his ancestors. After finding the Doc, they were about to leave when Marty told the Doc that upon arriving the Delorean's gas tank was punctured, so they don't have any gasoline to run the car, which means they have to find some way to get the car to 88 mph. They decide to try pushing it with a locomotive. And things are fine except for the fact that Tannen, who had it in for Doc, now has it for Marty and has challenged him to gunfight on the day that they are going to leave, and Doc is smitten with Clara Clayton, the new school teacher.
